Anthony Lewis Pipkin

Anthony Pipkin of Paterson, New Jersey, died Wednesday, October 17. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, October 26., at Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg. Burial will follow in the Hillside Memorial Park. The Family will greet friends for viewing and visitation Thursday, October 25., from 6:00 until8:00  p.m. at Purcell Funeral Home. Services are entrusted to Purcell Funeral Home, Laurinburg.

Anthony Lewis Pipkin, age 54, was born in Scotland County, North Carolina on March 2, 1964, to Mr. Henry C. and Mrs. Otelia Dudley Pipkin.

Anthony resided in Paterson, New Jersey for forty years. He attended the Public School #6 Eastside High School and Passaic County Community College of Paterson, NJ. He was employed at the Red, White, and Blue as a truck driver for five years. Anthony was a man of all trades, he was very caring, loving, giving, and willing to help anyone. He was a great husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. Anthony was slow to anger and slow to speak, he never complained.

Anthony Lewis Pipkin, departed this life on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at 12:15 PM. He will be greatly missed.

He was proceeded in death by his father-in-law Darius Owens.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Dionna Owens Pipkin of Paterson, NJ; two sons Anthony Pipkin and Aljuwon Pipkin of Charlotte, NC; his parents Mr. Henry C. and Otelia Dudley Pipkin of Laurel Hill, NC; two brothers Henry Pipkin Jr., and Darrin (Victoria) Pipkin of Paterson, NJ; three sisters Sondra Pipkin of Paterson, NJ, Tiffany Cater of Maryland, and Otelia (William) Jervey of Delaware; mother-in-law Mary Owens of Columbus, GA; two sisters-in-law Kristina Solomon of Columbus, GA, and Star Owens of Columbus, OH; brother-in-law Ronald Owens of Columbus, OH; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
