Keanan Derek Gibson

Keanan Derek Gibson, the son of Tracie B. Davis and Kendrick Gibson, was born on June 17, 1993.

Keanan graduated from Brentwood High School and attended Suffolk Community College, both in Brentwood NY, in hopes of becoming a Veterinarian.  He worked at Flexim Shipping (Import/Export) while attending college.  After becoming ill, Keanan relocated to Wagram NC, later moving to Raeford NC to live with his mother.  He attended Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church and Jubilee Christian Center.

Keanan loved to sing, write music, rap, and watch cartoons and basketball.  He also loved to play basketball every chance he got.  When you saw him, he would greet you with a smile and a hug.

Keanan was extremely close to his mom, who called him Baby Hughie.  She took very good care of him.  On July 19, 2018, God gained an angel.

Keanan leaves to mourn:  his mother, Tracie Davis (Keith Malloy, stepfather); father, Kendrick Gibson (Dagmar); grandparents, John and Alma Davis, and Sarah Gibson; godfather, Gerard Temples; brother, Keith Malloy Jr., Kendrick Gibson Jr., Drakkar Kelly, and Kasan; sisters, Keisha Malloy, Jasmine and Tiara Gibson; two nieces; god sisters, Tenesha and Jaleka; best friend, Miles Moore; aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and Guardian Angles; Auntie Stacey, Grandpa John, Grandma Alma, Aunt Ila, and Aunt Rugene.
